A few days ago there was anunofficial releaseof the new full-length trailer forScream 4. It was quickly pulled, but now we’ve got the official release. Hopefully this one will stick around longer; it’s after the break.
All I can say here is that this continues to look like a movie that just isn’t for me. I expect some fans will love going back to this meta-powered take on horror movies. For me it seems to be far too worried about being self-aware, but maybe that’s just the trailer. I do like the joke about remakes towards the end.

Williamsonhas saidthatScream 4will reference manga comics, Asian ghost girl movies, PG-13 horror movies, vampire films, M. Night Shyamalan movies and even torture porn. Scream 4 will begin shooting in Michigan in June 2010, aiming for a April 15th 2011 release.
